LG unveiled its latest premium smartphone a few days ago, in San Francisco, but the company left out some of the most important details about the new device, such as pricing and availability. A new report seems to suggest that the company might not even release the handset in Europe, as it is currently undecided.

During the unveiling of its latest flagship smartphone, the V20, LG stated that the smartphone would be made available at the end of September in South Korea and that it would arrive at all major US carriers. Later, many US carriers announced that they would make the V20 available to their customers soon, but they didn’t specifically say when.

The V20 will undoubtedly arrive in the US, but just like in the case of the V10, Europe will have to wait a few months before seeing the smartphone on shelves. Of course, there’s the possibility that it might not even be made available to Europeans.

LG has yet to decide if it will market the V20 in Europe

A Redditor has posted the information that LG isn’t planning on releasing the V20 in Europe. Ken Hong, LG’s Global Communications Director, has stated for Android Authority that the initial launch of the V20 will include North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. LG is currently undecided whether to debut the phone in other regions.

Fans do have the choice to pick up a unit from other markets and use them in Europe, but there might be compatibility issues, so the best move is to wait and see if LG will indeed make the V20 available to Europeans.

The V20 is surely an exciting Android device, with advanced audio and video features, like Bang & Olufsen audio tuning, a 16MP rear camera, an 8MP unit on the front, and wide or regular angles. The device runs Snapdragon 820, has 4GB of RAM, a 3,200mAh battery, and it’s the first phone running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
