LG Electronics might be planning to launch the LG G6 Pro and G6 Plus on June 27, while the V30 might make its debut in September, according to industry sources. The recent report reveals that the upcoming phones are meant to provide consumers with alternatives to the G6 launched at MWC earlier this year.

The two smartphones appeared in a report earlier this month, and LG didn’t actually confirm their existence but stated that the company was constantly working on providing consumers with new devices and products.

Still, the June 27 launch date for the G6 Pro and G6 Plus is only mentioned for the market in South Korea, and it’s unknown when the devices will arrive in other countries or if LG actually intends to make them available worldwide.

The G6 Plus is said to feature 128GB of internal storage, twice as much as the G6 model which was released earlier this year. In addition, it will be compatible with Qi wireless charging, which has only been available for US variants of the phone.

The G6 Pro will lack wireless charging and sell for $700

Its price tag might reach $890, $90 more than for the original LG G6. By comparison, the G6 Pro will come with 32GB of internal storage and no support for wireless charging. The phone will have a price tag of about $700.

The other specs are expected to be the same as on the original LG G6, which means that the G6 Pro and G6 Plus will run Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and come with 4GB of RAM. They will also have 5.7*inch Full Vision displays with 18:9 or 2:1 aspect ratio.

The report also mentions that the V30 will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 platform and come with 6GB of RAM, together with a secondary screen for notifications and shortcuts, similar to the one found on the LG V20. The phone will most likely be announced in September and released globally soon afterward.
