By comparison, the LG G Flex 2 was launched internationally during the first quarter of last year while its successor was rumored to come at the beginning of this year.

Still, considering that the latest rumor has it that the G Flex 3 will be unveiled six months later than expected, this new piece of information should be taken with a grain of salt.

The most recent information on the LG G Flex 3 points to a 5.5-inch QHD display, which means 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The screen size is the same as its predecessor, but the upcoming G Flex smartphone with have a clearer display.

Rumors say LG G Flex 3 could come with a modular design

It should also incorporate a powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Other than that, the new G Flex would come with 32GB or 64GB of internal memory and a microSD slot. Considering that it could be launched in September, the LG G Flex 3 might actually come with Android N OS.

Rear camera capabilities should reach 16MP while 8MP in the front snapper should suffice for selfies and video chats. Word online has it the smartphone could have a modular design similar to the LG G5, but it remains to be seen if it will include the self-healing case on the back. The technology allowed the device to automatically ‘heal’ from scratches and dents within 10 seconds.

If the rumors will prove to be true, then consumers would have to wait until September to see if the LG G Flex 3 will include all of these features. However, as the date approaches, more information will surely surface.
