LG has just announced several smartphones that will be shown during CES 2017 in early January. The only notable device out of the many that were just announced is the Stylo 3, also known as Stylus 3 outside the US.

The LG Stylo 3 has a really large display of 5.7 inches with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and 258ppi. The phone runs an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and has 3GB of RAM, together with 16GB of internal storage. Its predecessor, the Stylo 2, had 2GB of RAM and the same storage capacity.

When it comes to camera capabilities, the LG Stylo 3 doesn’t impress, but it does have a satisfactory rear camera of 13MP and an 8MP in the front for selfies and video calls. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner and support for LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB 2.0. It weighs in at 149 grams and measures 155.6 x 79.8 x 7.4 mm. LG Stylo 3 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and as the name suggests, has a stylus pen with a 1.8mm diameter fiber-tip.

LG announced the K10, K8, K4 and K3

LG also announced new devices in the K series, namely the K10, K8, K4, and K3. These are more likely new iterations of the smartphones carrying the same name launched earlier this year. Two of the latest phones, the K10 and K8, run Android 7.0 Nougat, while the rest ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The K10 has a 5.3-inch display with 720p resolution, octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal storage. The device draws power from a 2,800mAh removable battery, has a fingerprint scanner and a 13MP rear camera and 5MP wide-angle front snapper.

The rest of the announced smartphones have 5.0-inch or smaller displays, 1.5GB or less RAM, and some even come with 8GB of internal storage. Pricing details and launch dates are unknown at this point, but more information will be revealed during CES 2017.
