Chinese handset maker Lenovo has quite a few Android smartphones in the pipeline. One of them is the high-end Vibe X3, which leaked several times in the last couple of weeks.

However, those who want to know how the smartphone performs when it comes to hardware will be pleased to hear that the Vibe X3 has been recently spotted at Geekbench.

With a single-core score of 863 points and 3167 points in multi-core test, Lenovo Vibe X3 looks more than decent, performance-wise.

Obviously, it's not on par with high-end devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 4, for example, which scored 1490 points in the single-core test and 4950 points in multi-core benchmark.

Still, that's quite understandable considering Lenovo's Vibe X3 specs are much lower than those of the Galaxy Note 5, or any other flagship smartphone available on the market.

A mid-range smartphone with high-end specs

For instance, the Vibe X3 is powered by a 1.5GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, complemented by an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Moreover, the smartphone has been confirmed to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, though it's unclear whether or not Lenovo will be able to implement Android 6.0 Marshmallow by the time Vibe X3 goes official.

Unlike previous rumors that pointed to a 5-inch display, it appears that Lenovo Vibe X3 will in fact come with a much larger 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

On the back, the smartphone is likely to pack a 20-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording, while in the front there should be an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Lenovo Vibe X3 comes with LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (Near Field Communication), as well as GPS with AGPS, but there's no mention of dual-SIM support for the moment.
