14 DAY TRIAL // Lenovo unveiled its camera-centric phone Vibe Shot earlier this year, but customers in India haven't been able to purchase it for the moment.
The good news is that's about to change, since Lenovo has just announced that the Vibe Shot will be introduced in India on September 22, a new report confirms.
The Chinese company has recently confirmed it has scheduled a launch event for said smartphone early next week. Although there are no details on pricing options, there's a high chance the Vibe Shot will be available for around $300 outright.
We also know that customers will be able to choose from multiple color options such as: Titanium Grey, White, and Rose Red. More might be announced on September 22, but the information hasn't been confirmed yet.
Lenovo Vibe Shot's main selling points are the 16-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, triple-LED (dual tone) flash, optical image stabilization and full HD (1080p) video recording, along with the no less impressive 8-megapixel camera in the front that can capture full HD (1080p) video.
Apart from that, Lenovo's mid-range smartphone packs more than decent specs to justify the $300 price tag in case the amount is confirmed next week.
Snapdragon 615 CPU and 5-inch FHD display
For example, the Vibe Shot is equipped with a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit, and 3GB of RAM.
In addition, the smartphone packs 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
Lenovo Vibe Shot sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
It comes preloaded with Android Lollipop operating system right out of the box and it's powered by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery. Customers will also be pleased to know that the smartphone offers both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support.
