Unveiled earlier this month at IFA 2015 trade fair, the Lenovo Vibe P1 is now available for pre-order in the United States. However, the smartphone won't hit shelves until next month according to the listing at Amazon.

Customers who pre-order the Lenovo Vibe P1 via Amazon will have to come up with $360 (€318) upfront. Free shipping is available with all pre-orders for the device, which won't start shipping until October 8 at the earliest.

The main selling point of the Vibe P1 is the massive 5,000 mAh battery that has been confirmed to offer up to 650 hours of standby time or up to 48 hours of talk time.

It's also worth mentioning that customers will only be able to pre-order the 16GB version of the Vibe P1, though a 32GB version has been announced as well.

The battery features fast charging technology

The good news is Lenovo Vibe P1 comes with dual-SIM support and one of the slots can be used to add a microSD memory card (up to 128GB).

Another strong point of the Vibe P1 is the 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor inside, which is complemented by an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

The phone's 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

On the back, Lenovo Vibe P1 packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper, which features phase detection autofocus, dual LED flash and video recording, complemented by a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front.

When it comes to looks, the Vibe P1 features 2.5D arc screen design, metal body, Zircon sand blasting, extreme narrow frame, which should offer a better grip.

Last but not least, Lenovo's smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop right out of the box and offers 4G LTE support and fingerprint sensor.
