The long-rumored Pro version of Lenovo Vibe P1 has just been officially unveiled by the Chinese handset maker, but under a different moniker.

Lenovo teased Vibe P1 Pro several months ago, but did not offer details on its release. Today, the smartphone has been spotted in Indonesia as Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo, GSMArena reports.

Customers in Indonesia can already pre-order the Vibe P1 Turbo for around $295 (€265) outright. There are three color options to choose from: Gold, Graphite Gray, and Silver.

Although the smartphone is only available in Indonesia at the moment, there's a high chance that Lenovo will bring the Vibe P1 Turbo in additional countries.

In regard to the specs inside Lenovo's mid-range smartphone, Android fans will be slightly disappointed since it doesn't include all the rumored features.

For example, Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, but instead of 3GB of RAM, it comes with only 2GB.

Massive 5,000 mAh battery with quick charge support

On the bright side, the smartphone packs 32GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

If a Snapdragon 615 chipset doesn't impress customers anymore, the 5,000 mAh battery inside the Vibe P1 Turbo should be more exciting. According to Lenovo, the massive battery supports the 24W Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

At the back, Lenovo's smartphone packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies.

Lenovo's phablet sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, but there's no mention of any protection glass.

There's also a fingerprint sensor under the Home button, as well as dual-SIM and LTE support. It's also worth mentioning that Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but we don't rule out a Marshmallow upgrade in the coming months.
