Every year, IFA reunites the industry's giants in an event that stretches over multiple days in Germany's capital city, Berlin. It's a time when smartphone manufacturers announce the latest handsets and gadgets that they've been working on, while trying to capture the consumers’ attention.

Samsung decided not to wait until IFA to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, and it might have been the best move since the company has captured the market’s attention right before Apple unveils its latest iPhone.

LG is another manufacturer that won't be announcing its upcoming flagship smartphone during IFA, as the company scheduled its own event on September 6 in San Francisco and the following day in Seoul for the unveiling of LG V20.

Lenovo could announce new MotoMods during IFA Berlin

Lenovo has just posted a video on YouTube, which is a big teaser for the smartphones and devices that the company intends to showcase during IFA Berlin. The video features all sorts of gadgets, including upcoming MotoMods and other products for the company's highly successful Moto Z series. At Tech World, back in June, Lenovo announced the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, alongside modular accessories, MotoMods, which came with enhanced battery capabilities, speaker power, and even a projector.

During Tech World, Lenovo also hinted at other MotoMods, like HyperCharge, which would allow users to enhance battery capacity on the smartphone and charge it even faster. The company also showcased a MotoMod that would turn the phone into a mini-computer with docking options and a SmartCast mode that included a projector and even a laser keyboard.

Nevertheless, the video doesn't mention if these MotoMods will be showcased during IFA, but considering the importance of this tech event, there's high chance that they might.

The teaser video also shows Lenovo's bendable smartphone that can be placed on the owner's wrist, the same handset that was showcased during Tech World but has yet to be released. Lenovo also hinted towards a new tablet and a new kind of intuitive keyboard.

Lenovo's press event is scheduled on August 31, and we're eagerly waiting to see what the company has in store for us.
