Lenovo used this year’s MWC show in Spain to introduce two new laptops that despite being aimed at businesses, they are affordable enough to be pretty appealing for consumers too.

First and foremost, there’s the new Lenovo 14e Chromebook, which is an enterprise-oriented laptop running Chrome OS and which comes with impressive hardware at a rather low price.

The device boasts a modern look with slim bezels and an extra touch of durability. Lenovo says its new Chromebook comes not only with a water-resistant keyboard, but also with an aluminum case, which means it should withstand the typical hits that our gadgets suffer every day.

In terms of hardware, the Lenovo 14e Enterprise is powered by a 3 GHz, A6 AMD dual-core processor paired with 8GB DDR4 RAM. It offers just 64GB of eMMC storage, however, and provides a maximum of 10 hours of battery.

The 14-inch display offers an FHD resolution, and there’s also the optional touch support. The laptop comes fitted with Chrome Enterprise solutions and includes additional gimmicks like noise cancelling mics for crystal-clear video calls.

Lenovo 14e Enterprise will go on sale in the United States in March starting at $279.

Windows 10 Pro version

Additionally, Lenovo also unveiled the 14w Enterprise, a similar model that runs Windows 10 Pro and which comes with only minor changes in terms of hardware. For example, in addition to 8GB of RAM, it can also be fitted with 128GB eMMC or 256GB SSD storage. The same 14-inch display is being used with touch available as optional.

Like the Chromebook, the Lenovo 14w Enterprise will hit the shelves in the US in March as well, with pricing this time to begin at $299.

Lenovo won’t sell these two laptops in other markets, though the company could change its mind at any point depending on the demand it receives elsewhere.
