Lenovo has just launched its latest convertible model running Windows 10, thus offering another premium alternative to the Surface Pro 4 introduced by Microsoft a couple of weeks ago.

The so-called Yoga 900 13 convertible with Windows 10 comes with a 13.3-inch QHD+ LED multi-touch display and an integrated camera, as well as a sixth-generation Intel Core i7-6500U processor running at 2.50 GHz.

Lenovo developed the new Yoga convertible to be a productivity workhorse from the very beginning, so it comes with 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the configuration you choose, but it can also go up to 16 GB if you get the top-of-the-range model. The memory model used is PC3-12800 DDR3L 1600 MHz.

In terms of graphics, Lenovo is using an Intel HD Graphics 520 card, which doesn’t excel in terms of performance, so you won’t be able to play the latest games out there, but it still does its job well for the majority of tasks.

As far as storage is concerned, the maximum you can get is a 512 GB SSD, which should be enough to help you store all your personal files, but cloud support is always available if you need more storage.

Increased battery life and Windows Hello support

The new Lenovo Yoga convertible, which can also double as a tablet, comes with a 4-cell lithium-polymer battery that’s supposed to provide up to 10 battery of autonomy despite the aforementioned hardware, which, to be honest, might be even better than the Surface Pro 4.

Additionally, the device comes with 1 USB Type-C port, 1 USB 2.0 and 3.0 port, card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support.

Pricing for the new convertible starts at $1,119 (€985) in the United States, with the first units to be shipped later this month. There will be three versions available, namely Champagne Golf, Clementine Orange, and Platinum Silver.
