Chinese handset maker Lenovo announced about a week ago that it will introduce the K3 Note in in India. The mid-range smartphone made its debut in China back in March and proved to be very popular among Android fans, especially given the low price.

Customers in India will be able to purchase the Lenovo K3 Note for just Rs 9,999 outright, which is about $155 or €140. They will be able to choose from multiple color options, including Peral White, Onyx Black and Laser Yellow.

According to a new report, the only difference between the Chinese and Indian versions of K3 Note would be the fact that the latter lacks the large ring on the back panel, which would have looked hilarious.

Spec-wise, the smartphones are similar, so if you're familiar with Lenovo K3 Note's features from when it was launched in China back in March, then you know what to expect from the Indian version as well.

Get it from July 8 from Flipkart

First of all, the K3 Note ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Vibe UI on top. This is something that will greatly help Lenovo's mid-range smartphone achieve higher sale numbers.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, which is complemented by 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

Lenovo K3 Note comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB) and offers dual-SIM support.

The smartphone sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

There's also a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features dual-tone LED flash, autofocus and video recording, as well as a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.

Keep in mind that Lenovo K3 Note will be exclusively available through Flipkart via flash sales beginning July 8. The good news is registrations for the first flash sale have already started today.
