14 DAY TRIAL // There is still no ray of hope for Lamar Odom, the ex-NBA star and estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian who was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel earlier this week. The 35-year-old is believed to have overdosed on a dangerous combination of cocaine and Viagra-type herbal supplements and is now in a coma, on life support in Las Vegas.
Despite some reports that he moved or that there are signs his heart is showing signs of improvement (4 of his vital organs are failing, including his heart and kidneys), People Magazine says that the situation is as dire as ever.

Lamar has also suffered several strokes that may have left him with brain damage, and hasn’t shown any signs of improvement since he was taken to the hospital. Doctors have told the family that the longer he stays like this, the smaller his chances to wake up, the celebrity publication says.
“It's hard for Khloe. He is on his last leg,” an insider explains. “Everyone wanted to hope for the best, but nothing has changed. Now they are preparing for the worst.”
A life that went off the rails
When Khloe and Lamar met in 2009, before they decided to get married after just 30 days, he was at the height of his career. Soon after the nuptials, as he was sucked into the huge Kardashian money-making machine, he became even more famous and he seemed to enjoy it thoroughly for a while.
Then, his performance on court started to decline and he lost credibility by his association with reality television. He was transferred from the LA Lakers to the Dallas Maverick in 2011, and his career really slumped.
Shortly afterwards, rumors began to circulate that he had developed a drug addiction of which Khloe knew but was unable to convince him to seek help for. He would go missing for days in a row, allegedly binging, and by 2013, it became clear that he and Khloe were leading separate lives.
She filed the divorce papers in December 2013, but as of the time of writing, the divorce is still to go through. Lamar took this personal loss the hardest, sinking even further in his addiction. Last Friday, he checked into the brothel on his own and locked himself up in the VIP suite with 2 girls. One of them found him unconscious on Tuesday.
