It’s been only 3 years since the final installment in “The Twilight Saga” came out on the big screen, but loyal fans of the vampire story (Twi-hards, they’re called) would like to hope a reboot or some sort of continuation series is in the works.

If it is, no one told Kristen Stewart about it. She’ll be seen next in the action comedy “American Ultra,” in which she plays the stoner girlfriend of stoner Jesse Eisenberg. Asked by Uproxx if she’d be game to return to “Twilight,” she answers in the negative.

Kristen was tied to “Twilight” for over 4 years, with the 5 films coming out between 2008 and 2012. She says she loved the experience and loved being part of this amazing universe, one that helped her become the internationally known actress she is today.

She’s grateful for the opportunity and she would even be inclined to believe a reboot would be an intriguing idea.

However, “that doesn't mean I want to keep doing it,” she says. “But if other people? Yeah, sure. To be honest with you: I would be interested. I'd be kind of fascinated, but it wouldn't emotionally affect me one way or the other.”

Kristen, together with Robert Pattinson, his on-screen vampire lover turned husband, has been very vocal about the negative way in which the “Twilight” fame impacted on her personal life. She never went as far as to actually say something bad about the franchise, the way Pattinson did, but she made it clear that this was a one-time experience she would not like to relive, for all the advantages (and money) it brought her.
