The highly-anticipated Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC has finally been revealed, so fans of the series should be ready for another episode in the beloved saga. Square Enix confirmed the upcoming DLC will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on February 25, 2020.

The Japanese publisher announced that fans can now pre-order the Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind DLC for $29.99 or Kingdom Hearst III Re Mind + Concert Video package for $39.99, which includes all Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind content as well as footage from the Kingdom Hears – World of Tres – Orchestra concert recorded in Osaka, Japan on November 30th, 2019.

As far as the content included goes, Square Enix revealed that the Re Mind DLC provides a new playable episode as Sora adventures to make his way back to his friends and discovers truths that he could not imagine.

A trailer for the DLC provides more insight into the Final Fantasy characters that will appear in the DLC, including a first look at fan-favorite Aerith from Final Fantasy VII.

In the upcoming DLC, players will be able to take on multiple bosses in fierce battles, a Limitcut and Secret Episode, a new greeting mode, slideshow features and a new “Premium Menu” mode that includes various difficulty settings and gameplay challenges.

Besides the new Re Mind DLC, Square Enix announced a free patch update will be released in January for all Kingdom Hearts III players, which includes a main story update, new abilities and a new form for Sora along with the addition of Keyblades - Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Also, thanks to the free update, players will be able to take advantage of the expanded sharing features.

An exact release date for the Kingdom Hearts III free update will be announced close to release, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
