“Pregnancy is the worst experience of my life!”

Kim Kardashian hates being pregnant. She didn’t make a secret of it during her first pregnancy, with daughter North, and she’s not doing it now either, when she’s expecting a baby boy, her second child with rapper husband Kanye West.

The reality star is due in December, and though she’s had fewer problems with this pregnancy than with her first one, she is still very much not happy with the experience. In fact, she says in a new post on her blog, she hates it.

Keeping it real

As you may have heard, the Kardashian-Jenners launched their own blogs and apps last month, adding another notch on their belt as successful entrepreneurs. Kim’s comes second to Kylie’s in popularity, even though she tackles more varied topics, like fashion, makeup, style, and health.

Obviously, she also discusses her pregnancy at length - like how much she hates it.

She is no longer suffering from preeclampsia and placenta accrete like she did with North, but she still doesn’t like the way her body is changing in such unpredictable ways.

“For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life!,” she writes. “Maybe it's the swelling, the backaches or just the complete mind[expletive] of how your body expands and nothing fits. I just always feel like I'm not in my own skin. It's hard to explain. I don't feel sexy, either - I feel insecure and most of the time I just feel gross.”

She says no one prepared her for all this, including the stuff that happens after birth, where you have to “basically wear a diaper” for 2 months.

Getting back in shape

There is an upside to all this discomfort and displeasure, though. And no, it’s not the thought of bringing a healthy little human being into the world, a new person that you can shape to be the best person ever, or try to.

For Kim, the upside is “the challenge of getting my body back after it’s all over” because that makes her feel “accomplished.”

After giving birth to North and getting back to her pre-pregnancy figure, Kim went on a bender of racy photospreads, all of which were meant to help her celebrate her weight loss accomplishment and to rub in the noses of those “haters” who made fun of her while pregnant.

It’s safe to say we should expect more of the same once this boy - who may or may not be called Easton West - arrives.
