14 DAY TRIAL // While sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are launching makeup and styling websites, and Kendall is working on her career as a model, Khloe Kardashian is looking to branch out into daytime television. She’s just landed her first gig as host of her own talk show.
It will be called Kocktails with Khloe, according to the press release obtained by E! News. Because the Kardashians love words that start with a “k” so much that they occasionally butcher those that start with a “c” as well.
Shooting for the show is scheduled to begin soon, with FYI, the network carrying it, eyeing a later 2015 air date.
Apparently, it will feature “celebrity guests and friends [who] will join Khloe in the kitchen and around the table for an intimate dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and outrageously fun party games.” So basically it will be like a party at Khloe’s, but with cameras around.
This isn’t a Kardashian’s first attempt at turning their reality television star status into TV gold by means of a talk show. A while back, momager Kris Jenner tried to do the same: unfortunately for her, she only got a limited test run, which proved there wasn’t much interest in her as a talk show host, no matter how many strings she pulled to get her celebrity friends on the air.
The people at FYI obviously believe Khloe will do better.
