14 DAY TRIAL // Not long ago, Khloe Kardashian was opening up about ex-husband Lamar Odom in a couple of interviews that even got some fans thinking that maybe there still was a chance for reconciliation. He would always be the love of her life and she would never stop feeling bad that their marriage didn’t work out, she said.
Either Lamar has been keeping up to speed with his ex’s appearances in the press, or this was some strange coincidence, but he reportedly “ambushed” her outside SoulCycle and came thisclose to having her call the cops on him.
Lamar ambushes, harasses Khloe
Various sources confirm that, hours ago, Lamar came out of nowhere and confronted Khloe as she was about to head in for her morning workout at SoulCycle in Beverly Hills.
Eyewitnesses (who even offered for confirmation a blurry photo of the encounter) tell TMZ that Khloe was shocked to see him there, especially since she knew he had no way of knowing where she’d be.
He started yelling at her, telling her he wanted to talk, but she ignored him and just continued walking. At that point, TMZ says, he went and grabbed her arm and became verbally abusive to her.
“Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop,” Khloe reportedly screamed, until a passer-by intervened to ask her if she wanted him to call the cops. Lamar turned his anger on the stranger, telling him that he wouldn’t dare to “call the cops on Lamar Odom,” which is when Khloe slipped away and into her car, and left.
Lamar is upset about the new man in Khloe’s life
According to another report in People Magazine, Lamar didn’t seek out Khloe to fight with her but only to let her know that he didn’t approve of her current romance with James Harden.
Insiders tell the e-zine that he’s been trying to contact her, repeatedly calling her to set up meetings. Because she wouldn’t take his calls, he somehow thought that ambushing her like this would be the best idea to get her to talk to him.
Obviously, this was anything but a good idea.
“It made Khloe first shocked and then scared that Lamar was waiting outside the studio,” an insider says. “She doesn't know how he found her. She is thinking about getting a bodyguard.”
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were married in 2009 and split in 2013, after almost a couple of years of reports of marital trouble. She filed the divorce papers at Christmastime, but the divorce didn’t go through until this year, when Lamar filed his response.
