14 DAY TRIAL // A new preview for Kendra on Top, Kendra Wilkinson’s reality show with her husband Hank Baskett, could tip the scales in favor of her estranged mother, Patti Wilkinson, should she decide to take legal action against her.
In the video, posted online the other day, Kendra talks to her aunt about her strained relationship with her mother Patti, saying spending time with her feels like “being raped” by a “sadistic abuser.” She also claims she’s victim of adult abuse but doesn’t offer anything concrete to back up her claims.
According to Radar Online, Patti has had it with her daughter dragging her through the mud via reality television.
Patti lawyers up, will probably sue
Kendra and Patti have a strained relationship, having publicly reconciled and feuded again several times already. Most recently, Patti made an appearance on Celebrity Marriage Boot Camp, where Kendra and Hank were trying to solve their marital issues, but it didn’t pave the way for another reconciliation.
If the aforementioned preview (see the video below) is any indication, things are worse than ever between the two. Kendra believes her mother sold her out to the press during the Hank cheating scandal (which was, most likely, cooked up by Kendra herself to boost ratings), and has said before that this was the biggest betrayal she could ever imagine.
To Patti, all this is news. Sources close to her tell Radar that the meeting on Marriage Boot Camp didn’t go as shown on TV, and that many of Kendra’s lines were added in post-production, to make their estrangement look worse than it actually is.
Patti is disgusted by her daughter’s actions, because she would have never imagined she would scoop this low only to keep her family on reality television.
However, the breaking point came with this preview, which takes their problems and turns them into something considerably more serious: abuse is not the kind of word you just throw around, and Patti doesn’t want people to think there is any truth behind Kendra’s claims.
So she’s lawyering up and will probably sue her daughter for defamation.
Kendra’s shameless hustle
In the past couple of years or so, Kendra has shown that there is very little she would not do to stay on TV and thus be able to make money.
Rumor online has it that she came up with the idea for the cheating scandal involving Hank and a transgender model, which she later spun into a story of a huge misunderstanding. In other words, no, Hank never cheated on her.
In the process, she landed several, supposedly very lucrative TV deals, including Marriage Boot Camp and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, and countless interviews with the glossies.
Now that the Hank drama is more or less behind them, it makes sense for her to come up with something new to keep fans from tuning out on her show. This new drama with her mom sounds just like the thing to achieve that.
