Indian OEM Karbonn is back again with yet another cheap Android smartphone, the Alfa A91 Power. Just in time for the Diwali festive season, Karbonn's new handset is aimed at those who never owned a smartphone before.

That's because if you already own an Android smartphone, then you will be better off without the Alfa A91 Power, which comes with some of the lowest specs possible.

Anyway, according to a new report, Karbonn Alfa A91 Power is now available for purchase for just Rs 3,290 outright, which is about $50 or €45.

The good news is the Alfa A91 Power doesn't come with Jelly Bean onboard like another Karbonn smartphone launched recently, Alfa 112.

Don't expect it to come with Lollipop either, but at least you get Android 4.4 KitKat which is decent enough for such a low-end smartphone.

A cheap smartphone with very low specs (maybe too low?)

Moving on to specs, the Alfa A91 Power sports a small 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a low-power 1GHz single-core processor, which is complemented by 256MB of RAM and just 512MB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

On the back, Karbonn Alfa A91 Power packs a very modest 2-megapixel camera with fixed focus, LED flash and video recording, while in the back there's a secondary VGA camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity-wise, potential customers will be pleased to know the Alfa A91 Power offers both 3G and dual-SIM support, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support.

Last but not least, Karbonn Alfa A91 Power drains energy from a 2,000 mAh battery, which has not been rated by the manufacturer yet.
