Video game developer Avalanche Studios and publisher Square Enix are finally ready to deliver information about the Air, Land and Sea Expansion Pass that will be offered for Just Cause 3, including names for all the three downloadable content packs that gamers will receive before the end of summer.

Sky Fortress is the first piece of DLC and will be delivered in March of this year for 11.99 dollars or Euro while the other two are called Land Mech Assault and Bavarium Sea Heist, all of them offered one week early for gamers who are ready to pay for the Season Pass right now.

Sky Fortress for Just Cause 3 allows players to take on some missions that will be centered around the powerful carrier that prowls the skies of the island, launching a constant stream of powerful robotic drones that Rico will have to deal with.

Gamers will also get access to the Bavarium Wingsuit, which features both shoulder-mounted machine guns and missiles with auto-targeting, a new Eviction personal defense drone and a Bavarium Splitter assault rifle that will give them ways to deal with the new enemies.

Tobias Andersson, senior producer at Avalanche Studios, states, "An incredible amount of time has been spent ensuring every new item is fully integrated into the main game and can be used during existing missions. Rico’s new Bavarium Wingsuit will fundamentally alter the core gameplay of Just Cause 3, and we can’t wait to see the crazy stunts that players perform with it."

It will be interesting to see whether Sky Fortress manages to re-introduce a sense of wonder and silly fun that some fans saw as missing from the base game.

Rico will also have to deal with mechs and ships

Land Mech Assault does not have a clear launch date but will feature a new vehicle that gamers can use, an armored mech that uses a gravity gun to throw around objects.

The team at Avalanche Studios is saying that the robot will be maneuverable, giving players more options when it comes to moving from mission to mission while also offering the same protection from enemy gunfire as a tank.

Bavarium Sea Heist remains somewhat mysterious, and the company explains that it will only offer details about it in the coming months.

The Air, Land, and Sea Pass for Just Cause 3 can be obtained for 24.99 dollars or Euro and is available on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The development team has not talked about any new updates for the game that could introduce tweaks to the core gameplay mechanics or more bugfixes.

Just Cause 3 arrived in the fall of last year, and Square Enix said that it was happy with the sales that it generated during its first month.

The team that created the multiplayer mod for the second title in the series is collaborating with Avalanche in order to deliver a similar set of Player versus Player mechanics for the new installment in the franchise.
