It's unclear which issues will be prioritized

Video game developer Avalanche Studios and publisher Square Enix are ready to acknowledge the various problems that are currently affecting the recently launched Just Cause 3, and the two companies are saying that they are planning to eliminate all of them in time, although that might take a little longer than the fan community is willing to wait.

In an announcement on the Steam community space for the open-world experience, the two companies explain that at the moment they are focused on exploring the main issues that the community has been reporting in the two days since launch.

Avalanche states, "We know you’re going to want specific information on when a patch will land and what will be fixed - we would love to give you that information, and we will as soon as we have it. But right now, a little over one day since we launched, we have huge numbers of players in our enormous game world, and we’re monitoring all the data coming in."

The studio talks about the time it needs, but it is unwilling to offer an ETA for the first batch of tweaks, although they will probably work to deliver them before the end of the month.

At the moment, all those who have problems with Just Cause 3 should use the official customer support system at Square Enix to get information and to flag any major problems.

The Steam forums are also a good source of information for those players who need to deal with crashes or with limited performance.

Avalanche and Nvidia are offering some tweaks for those who run the game on GeForce cards, and a beta driver is also coming from AMD.

Just Cause 3 also has problems on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4

The biggest problem for the game in the long-run is that the patch announcement has been aimed only at those playing the title on the PC.

Avalanche and Square Enix are also offering the experience on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, where gamers are also reporting a drop in the frame rate that makes it almost impossible to enjoy the core mechanics.

It's unclear whether the patch that will be offered for the PC version of Just Cause 3 will also be launched on home consoles or if a separate process of bug tracking is required for those platforms.

The announcement is important because it acknowledges issues, but fans who are unable to enjoy the new Rico Rodriguez adventure will continue to be unhappy until an actual patch arrives and fixes the problems they are dealing with.

The new Just Cause experience takes gamers to an island in the Mediterranean, where they need to use clever thinking and superior firepower to overthrow a dictator.

Rico can once again use the powerful grappling hook and parachute combo, which are improved and can interact with a wider range of environmental factors, and he also gets access to a wingsuit that improves his choices when it comes to movement and combat.
