14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has published new updates for Office 2013 and 2016, as per the company’s release schedule that brings us patches for the productivity suite on the first Tuesday of each month.
The patches do not include security fixes, as these are released on the second Tuesday as part of the Patch Tuesday cycle, but they do bring important fixes and improvements that Office users should install as soon as possible.

Office 2013 is getting only two patches, namely KB3213567 and KB3213574, the first of which improves translations for the Dutch version of Word 2013, and the latter bringing fixes for Skype for Business.
No Office 2007 or 2010 updates
In the case of Office 2017, there are 12 different updates, with nearly each app that is part of the productivity suite getting its own share of improvements. Project 2016, for example, gets the biggest number of refinements with update KB3203476, which includes fixes for a bug causing cost precision to be lost after copying and pasting a task in a project.
Furthermore, the same patch addresses an issue causing the app to crash when selecting tasks in the Task Name column, while also fixing problems with indent setting synchronization tools.
You can check the full list of changes in the box below, but keep in mind that these are just non-security fixes, with vulnerabilities to be patched next week on Patch Tuesday. Also, Office 2007 and Office 2010 aren’t getting any non-security updates because they are already in extended support, and this means that Microsoft only releases security fixes for these versions.
It goes without saying all updates need to be installed as soon as possible, though next week’s are a bit more critical given that they fix security vulnerabilities in the Office productivity suite.
