A jogger was caught by the police running naked around the Microsoft campus on January 27, as he was trying to boost his immune system. Or at least that’s what he claims he was doing. He was wearing nothing but sneakers because when running naked, you must be careful not to injure your… feet.
The Redmond Public Safety posted a message on Facebook to explain that although you might find it relieving to run naked in the middle of the night, you could end up being charged with indecent exposure.
“On Jan 27th at 3:30am, an officer on the south side of a large corporate campus near 15320 NE 40 St observed an unknown male running outside,” the message reads.
What’s worse for the poor fellow, the police officer who caught him running naked was a female agent. And because she couldn’t believe her eyes, she called another officer to check out the jogger. No kidding.
“After seeing nude buttocks illuminated by a street light, she and another officer contacted the jogger, who was wearing nothing but black Sketcher sneakers,” the Facebook message continues.

The man ended up in the patrol vehicle, not because he was naked and this could very well be considered indecent exposure, but because of the cold weather. This is probably a good thing after all, as we all know that cold weather and naked men aren’t exactly the best combination when meeting a woman for the first time.
Asked how come he was running naked in the middle of the night in the Microsoft campus, the jogger had a simple explanation (which actually makes sense): “he was trying to build up his immune system to fight the cold weather.” While surrounded by offices were people building Windows actually work during the day (and sometime during the night too, cc @Dona Sarkar).
In case you’re wondering, the man wasn’t charged because there were no victims. And by the way, stop searching for pics, there aren’t any, and you can thank the police for this.
