New mom is back in top shape, but it’s not surprising

Jessica Biel hasn’t been in the news much in recent months, but contrary to appearances, she’s been very, very busy. The actress gave birth to her first child, son Silas, with husband Justin Timberlake in April this year, and by the looks of things, she’s already back to her pre-pregnancy figure.

Jessica and Justin walked their first post-baby red carpet together the other night in New York City, at Fashion International Night of the Stars Gala, where Justin was honored for his brand, William Rast. Jessica managed to steal his thunder, at least on the red carpet.

Jessica shows off incredibly toned figure

As noted above, Jessica hasn’t been seen much in public in recent months, let alone on a red carpet. She was photographed by the paparazzi a few times when she was pregnant, but for most of the time, she’s been keeping a very low profile since her wedding to Justin in 2012.

So even if she hadn’t been able to get her pre-baby body back, her appearance at the event on Justin’s arms would have still made headlines. By showing up looking as fit as ever, she managed to overshadow Justin.

Jessica wore a green, form-fitting Dolce & Gabbana dress with gold sling-back pumps and a matching clutch, and her hair styled naturally. She also opted for natural makeup, which made her stand out even more.

A hard-worker since before baby

That Jessica is in such great shape months after giving birth shouldn’t come as a surprise - it certainly won’t to her fans. She’s always worked hard on her fitness, making sure she got plenty of exercise and eating very healthy.

Even when her film career took a nosedive and she angered industry peers by saying things like how she couldn’t get a proper role because she was “too beautiful,” she still rank very high on all kinds of “hot celebrity” lists.

Every time she was photographed during her pregnancy, Jessica was either going into or coming out of a gym, so she kept up with her workout routine from before as much as possible.

She’s been just as committed to staying healthy in the months since she gave birth, even tweeting about her diet and her workouts. Apparently, she’s using the catering service Paleta, “a farm-to-table meal delivery service,” and she does CrossFit, yoga, weightlifting, running and hiking to burn off the extra calories.
