2 of Kylie’s bodyguards manhandled Alba, “body checked” her

Jessica Alba isn’t just a famous actress and occasional model for fashion and glamor magazines, but also one of the most successful celebrity entrepreneurs of the day thanks to her Honest business empire. She is, in short, one of the most recognizable faces in showbiz.

But not to the bodyguards working for reality star and budding fashionista Kylie Jenner, the younger sister of reality TV maven Kim Kardashian. At last weekend’s New York Fashion Week 2015, they shoved her out of the way and gave her what she described as a full “body check.”

Kylie Jenner’s bodyguards are overzealous

Word of the incident first got out in the tabloids, so not everyone took it for fully accurate. What gave credence to the report that Alba had gotten manhandled by Jenner’s bodyguards were accounts from other NYFW attendees who claimed they had suffered the same kind of treatment.

Appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Jessica actually confirmed the rumor, saying that she was left completely shaken by what happened.

She explained that hell broke loose as the Opening Show ended and everyone headed to the exit, when, to prevent anyone from coming near Kylie, her bodyguards started shoving people out of the way.

Laughing, Jessica said she first thought there was a fire in the building, but soon found out that “someone was leaving.” She described the experience as “shocking,” but stressed that she didn’t blame Kylie because she probably didn’t know what her security guys had done.

Kylie Jenner is sorry, actually nice

As these things go, word of the incident and how much attention it was getting in the press finally circled back to Kylie Jenner. Though she’s used to doing almost everything on social media (in the sense that there’s little she does that she doesn’t tell her millions of fans and followers about on her many channels), she kept her apology to Alba a private matter.

But the actress didn’t. She posted the photo you can see below on her Instagram, together with a beautiful thank-you note to Kylie for being so thoughtful. We’re to understand that Kylie included an apology with the flowers, which would, indeed, make it a very nice gesture.

As of the time of writing, Kylie is yet to say anything about the incident on social media. Our guess is that other people who got the same treatment from her bodyguards at NYFW, regular mortals as it were, won’t be getting flowers anytime soon.

Wow! Came home to the most beautiful flower tree I've ever 👀! Thank you @kyliejenner you are a sweetheart!! So thoughtful. A photo posted by Jessica Alba (@jessicaalba) on Sep 18, 2015 at 7:34pm PDT
