“SPECTRE,” the upcoming James Bond movie scheduled for release in the fall of 2015, has had a very rough start, made embarrassingly public by the Sony Hack. To boot, it’s also had a long gestation period and troubled pre-production, but it seems to be coming up roses.

A new trailer for the Sam Mendes-directed film has been released, and it’s as beautiful and as action packed as you would expect from the follow-up to the gorgeous “Skyfall,” considered the most beautiful-looking installment in the iconic franchise.

This time, as the film’s name suggests, Bond, James Bond, will be going up against SPECTRE, which stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. He is also falling out of favor with M for apparently going rogue in Mexico, while struggling to come to terms with something that came up from his past.

That last part is mentioned in the first official trailer, and is now elaborated on when Christoph Waltz’ Franz Oberhauser (supposed Blofeld) tells Bond, “It was me, James. I was responsible for all your pain.”

Keeping to the tradition, “SPECTRE” will open in theaters in the UK in October and then in the US and other territories in November. It also stars Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott and Lea Seydoux, the new additions to regulars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw.
