14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft will begin this month’s Patch Tuesday security update rollout tomorrow and as per the typical schedule, Windows 10 will receive a new set of cumulative updates as well.
Cumulative updates are particularly important for Windows 10 users, as they bring both security and non-security improvements every Patch Tuesday. Installing the most recent cumulative update brings a Windows 10 device completely up-to-date, thus fixing all the previously-addressed vulnerabilities.
The May 2018 Patch Tuesday, however, also marks the debut of the first cumulative update for Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803).
Microsoft started allowing manual downloads of Windows 10 April 2018 Update on April 30, and simply clicking the Check for updates option in Windows Update serves the new OS feature release to supported devices. The automatic rollout of Windows 10 April 2018 Update will also begin tomorrow.
Bug fixes for Windows 10 April 2018 Update
With this month’s Patch Tuesday, however, Microsoft will address not only security issues in Windows 10 April 2018 Update, but also fix some of the bugs reported by users who installed it manually. There are several more or less widespread bugs, including Google Chrome freezes that could eventually crash the system.

These updates have until now been troublesome, to say the least, causing failed installs and post-deployment errors, so hopefully, Microsoft addresses all these bugs with the release of a new OS feature update.
