It's nothing we haven't seen before but it gives us hope

A new and fresh Red Dead Redemption 2 rumor is now circulating online, this time directly from the Linkedin page of a Rockstar programmer.

Everyone wants to see Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, but Rockstar is delaying any type of announcement. They won’t even say that it’s not coming to PC and that the studio is focusing on other projects or at least something to alleviate the rumors.

Unfortunately for PC fans, Rockstar has a bad history with the PC platform, and we only have to look back at the first Red Dead Redemption, which never made it to PC. Sure enough, there were rumors back then that it could arrive and even some leaks, but nothing came of it.

Second Linkeding rumor

Surprisingly, this not the first Linkedin Red Dead Redemption 2 rumor, but the second. Another programmer listed Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC as something he’s working on currently but later edited that information.

Now, a Reddit user who’s probably stalking the Rockstar programmers on Linkedin for information noticed that Nan Ma, a former physics at Rockstar, is mentioning Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC as something he’s been working on.

He also worked on Grand Theft Auto V and Max Payne in the same capacity, so this seems like legit information. The information about RDR 2 for PC and other platforms was edited out, but there is a problem.

From the looks of it, Nan Ma is no longer working at Rockstar since October 2016, which could mean only two things. Either he made a mistake in listing the PC platform, or Rockstar was actually working on a PC version back then.

His profile doesn’t indicate that he’s working specifically for PC titles, so it’s likely that it was a mistake, but not necessarily. Since this is not the first rumor and given the success of GTA V on PC, it’s very likely we’ll see this game launching for PC fans.
