It’s new iPhone month, and Apple is projected to unveil not one, not two, but three different models during its September 12 event.

As it happens every year when we get closer to the public launch of new iPhones, the excitement regarding Apple’s products increases as we approach the event.

Today, a concept published on YouTube imagines what the new iPhone XS could look like with its exquisite gold finish and a larger version.

As 9to5mac notes, this concept is based on previous leaks of the iPhone XS, but it does envision what the device would look like from more angles. It shows that Apple would retain the edge-to-edge design introduced with the iPhone X, the vertically-mounted dual-camera system on the back and bet entirely on Face ID, as the fingerprint sensor is nowhere to be seen.

Certainly, there’s more to discover about the iPhone XS, but this concept provides us with an early look at what could be the design of the iPhone XS and its bigger sibling.

Third model also expected

In addition to this iPhone XS, Apple is also expected to take the wraps off a third iPhone model that would be positioned as a more affordable version, possibly priced between $600 and $700.

As compared to the premium configuration, it would only feature a 6.1-inch LCD panel and undergo several cost-saving measures, including sticking with a single-lens camera. Both the iPhone XS and the larger model would come with dual-camera setups.

Full details will be unveiled by Apple next week, with sales very likely to begin later this month. The LCD model could face a small delay, so pre-orders may start in October, while shipments could kick off later the same month or in early November, as it was the case of the original iPhone X.
