14 DAY TRIAL // Despite being considered one of the most controversial design features, the iPhone X notch is quickly gaining fans, not only among Android OEMs, which are bringing it to their devices as well, but also when it comes to Apple customers.
The notch is growing on them, and a survey conducted by Creative Strategies shows that more than 9 in 10 iPhone X buyers are pleased with the way the device looks.
Furthermore, the speed of the iPhone X, the photo quality, and the 5.8-inch OLED display are among the strong points of the device, the same survey indicates. The gesture-based navigation, Face ID, and the battery life are next in terms of customer satisfaction, while Siri got the lowest rating with less than 20 percent of the votes.
“That number is amongst the highest I’ve seen in all the customer satisfaction studied we have conducted across a range of technology products. Just to contrast that with the original Apple Watch research with Wristly I was involved in, 66% of Apple Watch owners indicated they were very satisfied with Apple Watch, a product which also ranked a 97% customer satisfaction number in the first Apple Watch study we did,” Creative Strategies notes.
iPhone X design expanding to entire 2018 lineup
The company goes on to explain that these results indicate that the iPhone X represents a solid foundation of Apple’s next decade of smartphones.
“The big exception still being Siri, but I’m optimistic Apple is making changes to the priorities around Siri and am hopeful we will see progress here in the next few years,” the firm says.
On the other hand, the good news for Apple is that buyers love the iPhone X design, as all the 2018 models are likely to come with Face ID, a notch, and a similar edge-to-edge display. The iPhone X, however, has other drawbacks that affect its sales, including the high selling price. The base model with 64GB storage costs $999 in the United States.
