14 DAY TRIAL // The biggest iPhone 8 leak so far, which consists of the final iOS 11 build that will be installed on Apple’s anniversary model, brings several new goodies to light, including the wallpapers that the company plans to use on the device.
As reported by 9to5mac, Apple has prepared several new wallpapers for iOS 11, including three backgrounds that will be exclusive to the iPhone 8, most likely in an attempt to make a bigger difference between this special edition model and the rest of the lineup.
Some of the wallpapers are evolved versions of older iPhone backgrounds, and surprisingly, Apple has even included a solid black wallpaper, most likely for the iPhone 8 to better align with the edge-to-edge display and make the device full black. No matter the color of the iPhone, the front fascia will be black, so with a black wallpaper, the screen would perfectly blend into the rest of the phone.
iOS 11 coming later this week
Just as expected, the wallpapers look really good, and in addition to the typical moon Earth photo, there are also several flower pics and a space image.

Apple will unveil the iPhone 8 on Tuesday, and iOS 11, which will bring the new collection of wallpapers, is expected to be announced at the event as well. A release date is not yet available, but since it’ll power the new iPhones, it should be ready in approximately one week.
The 2017 iPhone lineup will probably become available for pre-order on Friday (September 15) before going on sale one week later on September 22. iOS 11 will power them out of the box, so by that time, the new operating system version should be available for all supported devices.
