The first problems have surfaces for Apple's new flagship

The first problem for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus has already appeared, and it looks like some of the lucky new owners are complaining about problems with the call quality and the presence of static noises.

The fact that each new generation of phones will have some problems is inescapable, and this holds true for pretty much all of the major phone manufacturers. It’s also a problem of statistics, because the more popular a device is, the more people are going to use it, ensuring that whatever problems there are, there's a greater chance of exposing them.

Unless you’re Samsung and your new phones are randomly catching fire, pretty much all of the other issues are not all that important. The defects can vary from small problems that can be fixed with a system updates, to bricked devices that are replaced with the help of warranty.

Voice calls are still important

More and more functions are being added all the time, and new apps make out life better, but we still have to use phones as they were intended, and that means making calls, sending messages, and so on.

The last thing that you would expect from a brand new iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus is to hear static noises, but that’s exactly what’s happening. According to a report on MacRumors.com, several users have started to complain about hearing some static noises during calls.

The problem only seems to manifest itself when using the earpiece, but not with a headset or with the speaker. It just might be something wrong with the hardware itself, which will prove a costly matter. The noise is present during Wi-Fi calls, Facetime, and pretty much with all applications.

The latest iPhone 8 has been around for a few days now, and not many reports have surfaced about this problem, so maybe it’s not all that common. On the other hand, a user reportedly replaced the device with a new one and encountered the same noises.

Apple users can only hope that it’s something fixable via updates.
