Getting an iPhone 14 Pro or an iPhone 14 Pro Max is still incredibly difficult these days, but on the other hand, the wait doesn’t seem to be as painful as it was a week ago.

A new report from AI and citing JP Morgan information reveals that the shipping estimates for the iPhone 14 Pro models dropped from 25 days to 22 days.

In other words, the iPhone 14 Pro is shipping faster than before, though it goes without saying that waiting for more than 3 weeks for the smartphone is something you wouldn’t have imagined earlier this year.

Needless to say, the one to blame for the whole thing is the supply chain, as Apple’s partners continue to struggle with various challenges, including the restrictions in China. The good news is that some of these restrictions are now being lifted, and this is the reason the shipping estimates are also improving these days.

However, Apple’s previous warning was clearly accurate. The company warned not a long time ago that getting a new iPhone 14 Pro for Christmas would be pretty difficult, mostly because of the supply situation in China.

“COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily impacted the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China. The facility is currently operating at significantly reduced capacity. As we have done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we are prioritizing the health and safety of the workers in our supply chain,” Apple said at that point, trying to prepare customers for a long wait for the iPhone 14.

“We continue to see strong demand for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. However, we now expect lower iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shipments than we previously anticipated and customers will experience longer wait times to receive their new products.”
