Apple is expected to launch a lineup of four different iPhones next month, and now a new report reveals the name of each device included in the 2020 generation.

Needless to say, the biggest surprise is the addition of a 5.4-inch iPhone, which also comes with a new name too, but other than that, the iPhone lineup uses an approach that’s not necessarily unexpected.

First and foremost, it’s the iPhone 12 mini, the 5.4-inch model that is expected to also be the most affordable in the entire lineup. iPhone 12 mini will be specifically aimed at people who just love smaller iPhones, and those who previously considered getting an iPhone SE could very well check out this model too, especially because it’s supposed to bring new features like Face ID.

According to the leak courtesy of @l0vetodream, the iPhone 11 replacement will just be called iPhone 12. This model is projected to come with a 6.1-inch display and will follow a pricing approach that’s similar to the version it replaces.

Non-5G iPhone coming in 2021

Then, it’s the iPhone 12 Pro, an upgraded version of the iPhone 11 Pro which this time will come with a 6.1-inch display. Of course, it’ll be a more premium version as compared to the iPhone 12, and expect it to come with better cameras.

And then, the lineup will include the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is the new iPhone 11 Pro Max featuring a 6.7-inch display. This will also be the most expensive version in the entire lineup.

All models will boast 5G capabilities, and it’s believed that a 4G-only model would be launched in some specific markets at some point in early 2021.

So at the end of the day, these are the new iPhones launching in October:

  • iPhone 12 mini
  • iPhone 12
  • iPhone 12 Pro
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max
