14 DAY TRIAL // In an unexpected move, Apple surprised us again and released the first Beta builds of its upcoming iOS 11.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13.1, watchOS 4.1, and tvOS 11.1 operating systems, along with Xcode 9.1, to registered developers.
iOS 11.1 Beta, macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 Beta, watchOS 4.1 Beta, tvOS 11.1 Beta, and Xcode 9.1 Beta are all available for download from your Apple Developer account if you want to install them on your registered devices to test your apps or just take them for a test drive to see what changes they introduce.
For now, these Betas are limited to registered developers with a paid and active Apple Developer account, but Public Beta versions should be out soon as well for the rest of the world. As for the release notes, they currently only contain information about how to install the new Beta builds, which include bug fixes and security improvements.
How to install the iOS 11.1, macOS 10.13.1, watchOS 4.1, and tvOS 11.1 Beta
If you plan on installing the iOS 11.1 (build 15B5066f), macOS 10.13.1 High Sierra (build 17B25c), watchOS 4.1 (build 15R5823c), or tvOS 11.1 (build 15J5559d) Betas on your registered devices, you should know the drill already. For macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 Beta you need to download the macOS Developer Beta Access utility first, but the rest can be installed via the OTA (Over-the-Air) update system.
Just make sure you set the Beta profile to receive the new builds, which will overwrite your existing OS. Xcode 9.1 Beta is also available for download and includes the latest iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS Beta SDKs if you want to make sure your apps are fully compatible with the new Betas.
However, we have to warn you not to use any of these Beta builds on production devices as they contain various issues that have been noted in the release notes on your Apple Developer account. The rest of the world should use the current stable release, iOS 11.0.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11.0.
