China is one of the cheapest smartphone markets, but from time to time, OEMs from other countries manage to launch even cheaper products.

Since the Chinese smartphone market is so vast, we can't tell for sure if the following is indeed accurate, but Intex Cloud Swift could be the world's cheapest Android smartphone equipped with 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone is available for purchase in India exclusively via Snapdeal for just Rs 8,888, which is about $135 or €125. Considering the smartphone's other specs, the Cloud Swift might be a great deal for Android fans.

The good news is customers who wish to purchase the Intex Cloud Swift don't need to register on Snapdeal's website in order to get it.

It's clearly the most affordable 3GB smartphone launched by Intex

The smartphone is available in two color options, Grey and Champagne, but the latter seems to be out of stock for the moment.

Moving on to specs, Intex Cloud Swift is equipped with a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735A processor, a Mali T720 graphics processing unit and 16GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Software-wise, the smartphone comes preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop onboard and supports 21 Indian languages.

On the back, Intex Cloud Swift packs an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera.

When it comes to connectivity, the affordable smartphone offers a wide range of options including dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS

The Cloud Swift sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features DragonTrail Glass coating for extra protection.

Last but not least, the smartphone is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery, which should provide up to 8 hours of talk time or up to 20 days of standby time.
