14 DAY TRIAL // Indian handset maker Intex is back with yet another affordable Android smartphone, the Aqua Power II. The device doesn't come with any major features but it will probably stand out from other smartphones in the same price range thanks to its “Cast Screen” feature.
First of all, Intex Aqua Power II is available in India for only Rs 6,490 outright, which is about $100 (€90). Customers will be able to grab this one in different color options, like Champagne, Black and White, a new report confirms.
The good news is the Aqua Power II ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. As mentioned earlier, it comes with “Cast Screen” feature that mirrors everything from an Android device onto the TV screen.
The device also offers other interesting features, such as Air Shuffle, as well as many apps like Sashakt, OneDrive, ASK ME, Flashlight, Intex Play, Trucaller, Maxthon Browser and OLX.
Large battery and low price
When it comes to specs, the Aqua Power II is pretty modest. The phone is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor, a Mali-400 graphics processing unit, and 1GB of RAM.
It also packs 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Intex Aqua Power II feature a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.
The Aqua Power II sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that offers HD (720p) resolution and it's powered by a high capacity 4,000 mAh battery.
