This summer Chinese company Gionee unveiled an interesting smartphone called the Marathon M5 which comes equipped with an atypical feature. The handset features a dual battery pack of 6,020 mAh capacity which should ensure customers get to use their phone for at least two days.

While there aren’t a lot of devices like the Gionee Marathon M5, the phone is by no means the only one offering such a configuration. Like the Innos D6000 model that equips a built-in 2,480 mAh battery and a removable 3,520 mAh battery. This gives you a total of 6,000 mAh of juice power, similar to what the Marathon M5 offers.

The company says owners of the D6000 should experience a run time of more than two days. The larger battery is hot swappable, meaning you only need to remove the rear cover of the phone and pop out the battery without rebooting the device in the process. And if you have a spare battery at your disposal, you’ll be able to squeeze even more time.

Innos D6000 spec roundup

Now you’re probably curious about the specifications of the phone. The Innos D6000 arrives with a 5.2-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and utilizes the services of a Snapdragon 615 processor in combination with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot.

Other specifications include a 16MP rear camera, 5MP frontal shooter for selfies and such 802.11 Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a USB Type-C charging port, something that not many phones come equipped with. For example, the new high-end Samsung Galaxy Note5 doesn’t come with the new charging standard.

Moving along, the phone has dual SIM phone that supports GSM networks. However, the device supports 4G LTE in China, but only 3G speeds in other countries such as the US. The Innos D6000 should work with networks like AT&T and T-Mobile.

We’ve been sharing this aspect with you because, unlike the Gionee M5 we talked about above, the D6000 is available for purchase to customers residing outside of China. International buyers can pick up the phone from locations like Pandawill, Gearbest or Geekbuying for $250 / €224 a pop.
