14 DAY TRIAL // Great news for selfie fans in India, as US-based company InFocus announced a brand-new mid-range Android smartphone with a powerful front-facing camera, the M680.
According to a new report, InFocus M680 will be exclusively available in India via Snapdeal for Rs 10,990 ($165 / €150) outright.
The smartphone is already available for pre-order and will hit shelves on December 21. Furthermore, InFocus announced that the first 2,000 customers to purchase the smartphone will receive a selfie stick for free worth Rs 1,000 ($15 / €13.5).
The main selling point of InFocus M680 is the 13-megapixel camera in the front that features a Samsung 3M2 sensor, f/2.2 aperture and full HD video calling.
The M680 packs a similar 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
At the heart of InFocus M680 sits a decent 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, complemented by a Mali-T720 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.
Also, the mid-range smartphone packs 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
It comes with Hybrid Dual-SIM support
InFocus M680 offers both 4G LTE and Hybrid Dual-SIM support, along with other connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with AGPS and USB OTG (on-the-go).
Last but not least, the M680 ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with InLife UI on top, but the good news is the handset maker has confirmed that an Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade will be available soon.
