The Indian market has gotten quite a few 4G LTE enabled Android smartphones in the last couple of months, which proves that the country's network coverage for high data speeds is steadily growing.

This is probably the main reason US-based company InFocus has decided to re-release an entry level Android smartphone in India, the M2.

InFocus M2 made it to India back in March and customers could purchase it via Snapdeal. Today, a new report confirms the company announced the upcoming availability of yet another version of the M2.

The InFocus M2 4G will be available for purchase in India beginning July 24. Those interested in this wallet-friendly smartphone should know that InFocus will exclusively sell it via Amazon India through flash sales.

As mentioned earlier, the first flash sale will take place on July 24 and the M2 4G has already been priced at Rs 5,499 outright, which is about $85 or €80.

Even though it's been priced so low, the M2 4G comes with pretty decent features. For example, the smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 1GB RAM.

Cheap price + more than decent specs = good deal

Also, InFocus M2 is packed with 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Sadly, the smartphone ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box, and we doubt that InFocus will provide M2 4G owners with a Lollipop upgrade.

On the back, the affordable smartphone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5-element lens. There's also another 8-megapixel camera in the front with the same features, including LED flash and f/2.2.

InFocus M2 4G sports a 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (1280 x 768) resolution and 335ppi (pixel per inch) density.

As the name suggests, it comes with 4G LTE and dual-SIM support, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and GPS with AGPS. InFocus' cheap smartphone comes with a 2,010 mAh non-removable battery.
