Given the fact that just about everyone's so hyped about wireless audio systems these days, Altec Lansing has decided to come up with exactly such an audio solution and unveiled the inMotion Air, a speaker system that will enable users to listen to the music stored on their smartphones without the need for a physical link.

Bluetooth-equipped audio systems are not exactly a great novelty, since plenty such products have managed to make their way onto the market, but the new audio solution from Altec Lansing does come packed with a couple of interesting features that will make it stand out from the crowd.

One such feature is represented by the fact that, beside allowing users to stream audio from their Bluetooth-enabled smartphones, the new inMotion Air system can stream audio from a computer, via a special USB Bluetooth adapter.

And, in fact, when using such an adapter, the streaming range increases to around 100 yards (around 92 meters), which is quite an impressive achievement, to say the least, not to mention the fact that, in this way, users will have fast and easy access to all of their content stored within their computer's memory.

Of course, beside these interesting streaming capabilities, the inMotion Air also benefits from Altec Lansing's extensive experience in the field of audio solutions, being able to deliver great audio quality, almost near CD-grade.

Furthermore, the inMotion Air system also sports a convenient carry handle, for easier transportation between various locations, plus an AUX jack, that lets users connect non-Bluetooth audio players to this system, via a dedicated cable.

Unfortunately, despite billing it as “affordable”, Altec Lansing has not provided any pricing and/or availability information for their inMotion Air Bluetooth audio system, but we certainly hope to find out more details on these topics at some point in the near future.
