14 DAY TRIAL // Bethesda and Zenimax Online Studios have just revealed some major details about the first proper expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited, in the form of Imperial City. Besides quite a few specifics about its content, a set of release dates across PC, Mac, PS4, and Xbox One platforms are also available.
The Elder Scrolls Online launched last year on PC and Mac, and while the subscription-based multiplayer role-playing game impressed some fans of the series, Bethesda and Zenimax were forced to remove its monthly subscription and just offer The Elder Scrolls Online as a regular game, through the Tamriel Unlimited update.
Since then, the game finally appeared on PS4 and Xbox One, and more and more content was released for it.
The Imperial City expansion brings many new things soon
Now, the two companies have just shared some great details about the game's first proper expansion - Imperial City.
According to the official website, players will be able to explore the Imperial City, a ruin claimed by Molag Bal's forces. Comprised of six districts and an array of environments, the developer recommends that players venture within it as a group, although those with great skills and gear can withstand it alone.
All sorts of rewards are promised, such as Veteran Rank 16 armor sets, as well as quite a few other goodies.
The Imperial City launches for PC and Mac on August 31. Xbox One users get it on September 15, while PS4 owners receive it on September 16. However, later this month a free test version will be available on the PTS for all users to try out.
Those with active ESO Plus memberships receive it for free, while regular players can buy it for 2,500 crowns from the Crown Store.
If you don't want to get the different content in the expansion, you'll still be treated to a free update that offers players more XP, many improvements, and an array of enhancements.
