14 DAY TRIAL // Immortals Fenyx Rising is launching in early December, but Ubisoft wants to make sure that players know what's coming after the game's release. Just like it did with Watch Dogs: Legion, the French publisher announced some of the free content it will add after the game's launch, as well as everything included in the season pass.
As far as the free content goes, Ubisoft confirmed that in-game events, weekly dungeon challenges, and daily quests will be added to Immortals Fenyx Rising on a regular basis. Furthermore, the season pass will bring new environments, heroes and fresh gameplay, and owners will also receive a bonus quest: When the Roads Get Rocky, available at launch.
Those who plan to purchase the Immortals Fenyx Rising Season Pass will probably be happy to know that Ubisoft will offer them three narrative-based DLCs. The first one dubbed A New God, adds a new adventure set in Olympos Palace, home of the gods. In this DLC, Fenyx must overcome the Trial of the Olympians, which involves traversing challenging vaults built by the gods, in order to join the Inner Circle of the Pantheon.
The second DLC is called Myths of the Eastern Realm and it's set in Chinese Mythology. The game’s second episode introduces a new hero, Ku, who sets out on a journey to save mortals in a new mystical land at the frontier of the Sky and Earth. Players will need to master Ku’s unique fighting style and abilities, inspired by Chinese martial arts, to defeat new enemies and monsters from Chinese mythology.
Last but not least, The Lost Gods DLC will feature top-down gameplay, all-new brawler combat and a new hero, Ash, chosen by Fenyx to bring back the lost gods. The third and last episode of the season pass will take place on a new mysterious island where players will explore regions inspired by these lost gods, to restore balance on Earth.
For those wondering, the season pass is included in the Immortals Fenyx Rising Gold Edition, but it can also be purchased separately.
Immortals Fenyx Rising launches on December 3 for Google Stadia, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Luna, and Nintendo Switch.
