We can't say for sure since the Chinese handset maker did not offer any details on pricing options and availability yet. However, we do know for sure that the OneTouch Pixi First is certainly at the rock bottom when it comes to specs.
But Alcatel is pretty certain that the OneTouch Pixi First will appeal to many customers since it's “amongst the slimmest 4-inch handsets on the market.”
Obviously, if that's what you're looking, Alcatel's smartphone is probably the one to choose over other devices in the same price and specs category. Speaking of which, let's take a look at what the OneTouch Pixi First has to offer in terms of specs.

First of all, this is an Android handset, though it's unclear what version of the operating system Alcatel has decided to preinstall on the entry-level smartphone.
As mentioned earlier, the OneTouch Pixi First sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.
On the inside, the smartphone packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum 7331 processor, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM and only 4GB of internal memory. The good news is users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card.
In the back, there's a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the back there's a modest 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera for selfies and video calls.
Alcatel OneTouch Pixi First offers 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support. It's also worth mentioning that the entry-level smartphone is powered by a 1,450 mAh battery, which should offer up to 300 hours of standby time or up to 7 hours of talk time.
Potential customers may want to know that the OneTouch Pixi First will be available in multiple color options including Soft Slate, Metal Silver, Metal Gold and Rose Gold.
