Some of the cheapest smartphones announced by Acer at IFA 2015 are Liquid Z320 and Liquid Z330. Their Windows Phone counterparts, Liquid M320 and Liquid M330 are also among the cheapest handsets launched by Acer at the trade fair.

Acer Liquid Z320 and Z330 share the same hardware configuration for the most part, but they have been priced differently.

Customers will be able to buy the Liquid Z330 beginning October. The smartphone will be available in EMEA for just €130 outright.

There is no mention of Liquid Z320's pricing options and availability, but since it lacks some features that the Z330 packs, we suspect this one will be even cheaper.

So, Acer Liquid Z320 is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8209 processor and 1GB of RAM. Also, there are only 8GB of storage inside the Z320, though users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The affordable smartphone sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution.

On the back, there's a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a modest 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Acer Liquid Z320 comes with 3G connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS support.

4G LTE support is the main differentiator between the two

Moving on to Liquid Z330, the smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

It comes with a similar 4.5-inch display and 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, but there's a much better 5-megapixel camera in the front that should capture great selfies.

Also, the Liquid Z330 offers 4G LTE support, which seems to be the main difference between the two Acer entry-level smartphones.

Obviously, both Liquid series smartphones will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system onboard and the latest version of Acer UI on top of it.
