Without a doubt, the Surface Phone is one of the most eagerly-anticipated products ever in the works at Microsoft, and the odd thing is that there’s not even a confirmation from the software giant that this device is on its way.

And while most signs seem to indicate that a new mobile device could be prepared for enterprises, consumers are still super-excited about the prospect of getting a Surface Phone running Windows and possibly offering a bigger screen with several form factors.

In the meantime, Apple itself is also working on an iPhone X with a bigger screen, perhaps launching this year as iPhone X Plus.

Cupertino has remained completely tight-lipped until now with not even a hint dropped regarding a possible larger sibling for the iPhone X, but more and more leaks seem to suggest that this is the direction that the company is planning to embrace for the 2018 iPhone generation.

Possible launch in September

And a concept video rolled out by ConceptsiPhone today shows that the iPhone X plus could indeed be a device that would once again set new standards. Of course, it’s just a concept and the real deal could be much different, but at this point, both the iPhone X Plus and the Surface Phone are nothing else that unconfirmed projects whose design and features continue to be an enigma for everyone.

This concept envisions not only the premium touches that Apple could give to an iPhone X Plus, but also features that have until now been avoided. For example, in addition to the 6.5-inch OLED display, the iPhone X Plus is imagined with dual SIM support, plus a new gold color.

If the iPhone X Plus is indeed planned, expect it to see daylight in September this year when Apple is projected to unveil its refreshed iPhone lineup, likely to include a successor to the iPhone X as well.
