I’ve highlighted this before, but 2-in-1 hybrids are becoming increasingly popular for device makers, which are presumably trying to answer customers’ needs.

Now Chinese manufacturer 51Cube has jumped the convertible bandwagon and has rolled out a 10.1 inch (IPS display with unknown resolution) Windows 8 tablet, called iWork 10 that can be used both in tablet and notebook mode.

The slate comes with a keyboard bundling a two-button mousepad, so you can get quite productive with it. On top of that, its atypical case allows the hybrid to stand on its way, quite reminiscent of an all-in-one desktop.

On the inside, the iWork 10 is powered up by a dual-core Bay Trail CPU clocked at 1.8GHz combined with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other functions you’ll be finding onboard are HDMI out, Wi-Fi and 3G.

So far price or availability date for the iWork hasn't been announced, but stayed tune to find out more soon.
