At the McAfee FOCUS 13 Security Conference, iScan Online launched a new bring-your-own-device (BYOD) vulnerability remediation feature that can help organizations address the security risks posed by the BYOD trend.

iScan Online’s BYOD remediation feature categorizes and prioritizes the issues identified on devices, and provides guidance and active links for addressing them.

Such a solution has two main advantages: it helps organizations with securing their networks and applications against threats that leverage vulnerable devices, and it empowers users to become more aware and to take action to address security issues.

“Given traditional security scanning approaches, the amount of data presented to the average user is overwhelming and confusing to BYOD users, resulting in no action being taken to secure their devices,” noted Carl Banzhof, CEO of iScan Online.

“We've taken away the complexity and security geek speak by providing an easily actionable list of ‘top things you need to do today’.”
