For iPhone owners who use Google Reader on their devices, the Google Reader Team has announced their introducing a "Brand new Google Reader for iPhone," available at a tap of the screen. The guys at Google Reader wanted to make the most of Apple's touchscreen device and thus released this new Beta version of Reader, not designed only for the iPhone, but also for other mobile devices with advanced web browsing capabilities.

"To make our (and your) Reader iPhone experience better, we wanted to really take advantage of the iPhone's capabilities," the team at Google Reader says. "Today we're releasing a new beta version of Reader designed for the iPhone and other mobile phones with advanced browsers," the team notes.

According to the team, this new version of Reader is designed to offer almost all the features found with the desktop version, while making it "quick and easy to act on items." For instance, those who use a list view more often will find themselves right at home with the new Reader. "Scan the titles for an item that interests you, tap and it expands in place. Starring, sharing, and keeping unread are done in place, so you never have to leave the list view or refresh the page. We think it's a very fast way to power through your reading list," the team claims.

However, users are advised to bookmark the site so that they don't forget the address. The team has chosen not to automatically send you to it, since it's still in beta. Also, users are encouraged to provide feedback regarding their experience. You can visit this address to do just that. Don't forget to leave your impressions with us too, as soon as you try the new Reader on your iPhone.
